By using the KalaVihar website (kalavihar.com), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

Continued use of the site after any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Registered users will be notified by email of significant changes.

👤 User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
• Report any suspicious activity on your account to us immediately
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms

🎨 Products

KalaVihar sells authentic handmade Madhubani artwork. Please note the following:

• Every piece is handmade — slight variations are natural and not a defect
• Colours on screen may differ slightly from the actual product
• Dimensions may vary by ±1–2 cm for handmade pieces
• Product photos represent actual items — not illustrative stock images
• Limited edition pieces may not be restocked once sold out
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice

🛒 Orders & Payment

Placing an Order:

• Adding items to your cart does not confirm or reserve the order
• An order is confirmed only upon successful payment
• Your confirmation email serves as proof of order acceptance

Pricing & Payment:

• All prices are in INR and inclusive of GST
• We reserve the right to cancel orders where a technical error caused an incorrect price to be displayed
• Payments are processed via Razorpay — secure and encrypted
• COD is available on selected pin codes

Cancellation:

• You may cancel within 6 hours of placing your order
• Dispatched orders cannot be cancelled — the return policy will apply
• We may cancel orders due to stock unavailability or pricing errors — a full refund will be issued

All content on the KalaVihar website — including images, design, logo, text, and artwork photographs — is the intellectual property of KalaVihar or the respective artisans.

• You may browse the site for personal use
• Commercial use, copying, or redistribution is strictly prohibited
• Sharing artwork images on social media is permitted with proper credit
• Copying the website design or structure is not permitted

🚫 User Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Posting false reviews or placing fraudulent orders
• Attempting to hack or bypass website security
• Posting abusive, threatening, or hateful content
• Sending spam or conducting phishing activities
• Scraping the website or using automated data collection tools
• Attempting to access another user's account
• Using fraudulent payment methods

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

KalaVihar is not liable for:

• Losses arising from website downtime or technical issues
• Delivery delays caused by third-party courier partners
• Force majeure events — natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions
• Issues related to your device or software

Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the value of your order. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 remain fully protected.

⚖️ Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. In the event of a dispute:

• Please contact us directly first — most issues can be resolved amicably
• Unresolved disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Bihar, India
• Consumer disputes may be referred to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
• Online dispute resolution is available under the IT Act

We may update these terms at any time. For material changes, we will:

• Send an email notification to registered users
• Display a notice on the website
• Clearly state the new effective date

Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
